Cursor Should Start at the Title for New Cards#119

Current behavior:

• Upon creating a new card, the cursor starts in the body of the card.

Expected:

• Cursor should start in the Title field, since 100% of the time I’m going to want to replace the default “untitled” text in the title field.

Note:

• This also matches behavior of other apps like Obsidian, so I expect other users will also expect it.

This is related to #40. The current behaviour was changed based on user request and there is a comment in the linked thread about it.

I’ll still keep this request here to see if this is upvoted by the users or just providing an easy shortcut to jump between the title and content is a better option.

Thanks. I like the suggestion from a user on that thread:

“They might think contents first because the card made by link from another card. So it’s logical put cursor on contents first since the card has title already in this case.

So, if you have title already, put cursor on contents default, but if you make card by clicking the destk or empty card, cursor should be on title section.”

This makes a lot of sense to me. Default position in body if the user has already specified title. If title has not been specified yet, put the cursor in the title.
