A way to push content into Scrintal from other places. Possible ways to do it:
browser bookmark plugin would be great
+1 to chrome plugin
email address good idea … can then be sent from anywhere.
Definately like to see a web clipper for collecting snippets and page links for later assessment
I would like to be able to send weblinks, short notes, video links, pdf links etc to Scrintal from my iphone, ipad, mac.
These inputs should land in some form of inbox or in-board for later consideration
Great way to reduce input friction!
Definitely +1 to add content by email - this could also include (supported) attatchment handling in addition to text.
An additional aspect of external input to scrintal that could be useful on apple platforms is the ability to work with apple shortcuts.
In this way user created shortcuts and workflows could send notes to a scrintal ‘inbox’
@Furkan Bayraktar OK, merging is your decission, I just would like to point out that I am not looking for sending notes into Scrintal but quite the opposite - sending an existing card from Scrintal as an e-mail.
Curious Furkan, Is it important to send a single card or multiple cards at once from Scrintal to an e-mail client? Also, should the format for the e-mails be text only or html formatted text? I am just a user like yourself but I find your idea interesting to send out vs. in. Also, since Scrintal allows sharing, would just sending a link to a card or cards or board with cards be a reasonable alternative. Trying to understand your use case better so I can decide on what input I might want to provide to the product team for this feature if they decide to do it. Thanks in advance for the good idea.
@Neomewilson A single card is for me enough. I am asking for this feature, because I would like to send the card to my task management tool (Amazing Marvin) and create a task, when I need to track my work there, ideally Subject as Card name (=>task name) and Body would be enough as plain text with markdown, but even a plain text would be enough=>task description. I don’t need full 1:1 content, just enough so that I can proceed with my tasks elswhere without either switching my tools all the time or manually copying parts of it.
Thanks for the response. That is a good use case with clearly defined parameters. I appreciate the clarity in your response. I like the idea for that use case. In my world, which is one of a retired IT Professional, who has become a writer, composer, and artist I find tracking task in Logseq where my Daily Journal is and I do a lot of my writing research works well for this use case. But, because there is not a mobile client for Logseq for Android, that Idea appeals to me as well as I could sent task ideas that I may have generated while working in Scrintal to email then to Logseq. Thanks again and have a good day.
would be good for Outlook to Scrintal - O365 and App.
Would love to send my Rocketbook app into Scrintal
An integration into MacOS/iOS/iPadOS supporting the “Share” functionality available systemwide (for any app) would be the most useful integration in this ecosystem.
