It would be super useful if MathJax or KaTeX was enabled so that mathematical equations can be written easily in the cards.
I upvote this. It would be great to display equations as in any markdown flavour.

for a simple example, $\int_a^b f(x)dx$ should display like a typeset integral in an article or textbook.

As of version 0.20.473, Scrintal has KaTeX support. You can add math expressions by typing \$ ... $

I believe the tests must have been done before releasing. It will be better to provide some simple examples in the documents. It doesn’t work in the following case.
The formula needs to be a single line. We do not support multiple line formulas.
