Emoji Dropdown Should not Appear Inside Code Block#336

Whenever I type a colon in a code block, I get a popup saying “Type to search emojis”. This prevents me from pressing enter to break into a new line after I type a colon followed by any number of characters ( e.g. “:sometext)” ) that are not a blank space.

I would expect that in a code block either rendering emojis is disabled, or if that is supported, I can break the line without having to press space.
