When a new card is created, the cursor is in the body. The logic for this is that the user could immediately start writing and worry about the title later.
It would be great to have a keyboard shortcut to jump to the title field quickly. Something like CMD+Arrow-Up.
… some even would like / prefer to see the cursor in the title first; then use the canonical ‘tab’ to get to the body straight away, otherwise :-)
(– see requests in Slack)
This version would also avoid need to come up worh more idiosyncratical (= less intuitive) shortcuts for ‘jumping back’ instead of the common sense / best practice ‘jump forward’
They might think contents first because the card made by link from another card. So it’s logical put cursor on contents first since the card has title already in this case.
So, if you have title already, put cursor on contents default, but if you make card by clicking the destk or empty card, cursor should be on title section.
@박이웅 (박이웅) : well! well! well! – good thinking, practically, but also in resonance w/ Scrintal philosophy! Chapeau! And thanks for that helpful proposition!
