Create New Card from Selection#9

User should be able to highlight a portion of the text in the text editor and create a new card from the selection with a click of a button or a shortcut. The new card will not be linked the current card and the highlighted content will be removed from the current card.

I think that it might be useful to make linking to the new card optional. In some cases it might be useful.. ie spliting a card into 2 considerations but to keep them connected via a bidirectional link. Would i guess need to provide some card header text for the new card to make a meaningful link

I just imported 50 long pages from Obsidian, and now I want to break those cards into smaller cards…this would be a killer feature for me, especially with the link option.

@Jamie Did this yesterday: did the breaking in Obsidian with Note Refactor and imported the resulting files into Scrintal. Beware: could take some time when there are many files…
